Hello!
Linzi Bate is a freelance illustrator, art director and designer based in Vancouver, Canada.
Originally from the North East of England, she graduated from Leeds University in 2008 with a BA (Hons) in graphic design. Since then, she’s worked in the character licensing, theme park design, animation, and brand design industries, always bringing with her a keen eye for colour, detail and a dedication to the art of visual storytelling.
From a young age, she’s drawn inspiration from her many creative passions; these include feature animation, theme park design, fashion and theatre. A dual Canadian and British citizen, she is always interested in new creative opportunities, as well as collaborating with others.
She lives with her boyfriend, Luke, and splits her weekends between sketching, painting and exploring the West Coast.
